Missing a notification is the most common way players lose a match they could have won. Check-in windows, match times, and challenges all run on deadlines that are enforced automatically.
Notifications
You are notified in-platform and by email about:
- Events opening for registration in your preferred games
- Check-in opening for an event you registered for
- Your match being scheduled, and the match going live
- Challenges received, accepted, or declined (Battlegrounds)
- Results submitted by an opponent, awaiting your confirmation
- Prize money paid into your wallet
Email is the fallback when you are not on the platform. Keep the address on your account current and check that notifications are not going to spam, particularly before an event you care about.
Messages
Direct messages let you talk to other players outside a specific match — arranging a roster, following up with someone you played, or coordinating with a team.
This is separate from the two in-event chats:
For anything that might need an admin ruling — a disputed score, a no-show, a scheduling conflict — use the match or event chat, not direct messages. Admins can see those; they cannot see your DMs, so a conversation held there gives them nothing to rule on.
Managing preferences
Set what you receive and how from Profile → Settings → Notifications. Match and check-in alerts are worth leaving on regardless of what else you turn off.
