Matches are generated from stages. Every match in an event is listed under the Matches tab on the event page, with your own matches shown first.
The match page
- Event — the event the match belongs to
- Status —
Pending, Scheduled, Active, or Completed
- Round and Match — where the match sits in the stage
- Best of — Bo1, Bo3, or Bo5
- Ends in — how long you have left to complete the match and submit results
Scheduling
Who sets the time depends on the stage type.
You schedule it yourself in Round Robin, Swiss, and Battlegrounds stages:
- Propose a time to your opponent
- They accept or reject it
- On acceptance the match is scheduled and you can join the lobby at that time
- On rejection, either side proposes a new time
An admin schedules it in every other stage type, and the time appears on your match page.
Two deadlines decide matches without anyone playing:
- If your opponent does not respond to your proposed time within the stage deadline, you win automatically
- If the match is never scheduled within the deadline, both sides forfeit
Propose a time early. Proposing and being ignored wins you the match; letting the clock run out loses it for both of you.
Readying up
Once the scheduled time passes the match becomes Active and both players must Ready Up. This tells your opponent and the admins that you are present and ready to play.
If no result is submitted by the deadline, players who never readied up are forfeited. Readying up is what distinguishes you from a no-show, so do it even if your opponent has not.
Submitting results
- Either player can submit the result
- A screenshot of the result is required on every match
- Once submitted, your opponent is notified and can confirm or dispute it
- Admins can override any submitted result
Capture the scoreboard before you leave the lobby, every time. The screenshot is the evidence an admin rules on in a dispute — your account of what happened is not.
Match chat
Each match has a private chat between the two opponents and the admins. It is open during the stage the match belongs to and closes once the match completes.
This is the right place to arrange lobby details, flag a problem, or leave a record of trying to reach an unresponsive opponent.
