The problems that come up most during events, and what to do about each.
Raise problems in the event chat while the event is still running. Admins are in there and can adjust schedules, results, and participation live. The same problem raised after an event closes is far harder to fix.

My opponent is “TBD”, “TBC”, or “BYE”

These are placeholders, not players.
  • TBD / TBC — the match that decides your opponent has not finished yet. Your slot is real; the other side is still being resolved. Wait for the feeding match to complete and the name will fill in automatically
  • BYE — there was no opponent to pair you with, usually because the entrant count did not divide evenly. A BYE advances you to the next round without playing
You do not need to do anything in either case. Do not submit a result against a placeholder.

My opponent has not shown up

Match deadlines are enforced automatically, so a no-show resolves itself — but only if you have done your part.
  1. Ready up. Once a match goes Active you must ready up. If neither player submits a result by the deadline, players who never readied up are forfeited. If you readied and they did not, that distinction is what protects you
  2. Message them in the match chat, so there is a record of you trying
  3. Wait out the deadline. Do not submit a fabricated score
  4. Raise it in the event chat if the deadline passes and the match has not resolved
Readying up is what separates “my opponent no-showed” from “we both no-showed”. If you never readied up, you can be forfeited even though you were the one who turned up.

My opponent will not agree a time

In Round Robin, Swiss, and Battlegrounds stages, players schedule matches between themselves.
  • Propose a time. If your opponent does not respond within the stage deadline, you receive an automatic win
  • If neither side proposes anything and the match goes unscheduled, both players forfeit
So propose a time early, even if you expect no reply. Proposing and being ignored wins you the match; letting the clock run out loses it for both of you.

My opponent reported the wrong score

  1. Do not confirm it. Once submitted results are confirmed they are settled
  2. Dispute it. Disputing sends the match to an admin
  3. Upload your screenshot. This is what the admin decides on — the screenshot is the evidence, your account of events is not
  4. Explain in the match chat, where the admin can see it alongside the dispute
Admins can override any submitted result. Prizes for a disputed match are held until it is resolved.

I forgot to screenshot my result

Take one now if the game still shows the scoreboard — many titles keep a match history for a period afterwards. If you cannot recover one, submit the result and say so in the match chat. Without a screenshot an admin has little to work with if your opponent disagrees, so the safest habit is to capture the scoreboard before leaving the lobby every time.

I cannot register for an event

Almost always an eligibility gap:
  • No linked game account — the most common cause. Link the account for that title (more)
  • Unverified contact number — some events require it
  • Age or region restriction — some events are limited, and this cannot be worked around
  • Registration has closed — check the event schedule
  • Check-in cap reached — events cap on check-ins, so a full event cannot take more entrants

I registered but cannot play

You almost certainly did not check in. Registration reserves nothing on its own — every event has a separate check-in window shortly before it starts, and missing it forfeits your place. See Joining An Event. Check-in usually opens around 45 minutes before the first stage, but this is set per event.

I cannot find my match

  • Open the event page and go to the Matches tab, which lists every match in the event
  • Your own matches appear under My Matches at the top
  • If the stage has not been seeded yet, your match does not exist yet — wait for seeding to finish

How do I contact my opponent

Each match has its own chat, open to both players and to admins. It is available during the stage the match belongs to, and closes once the match completes. There is no contact outside the platform, by design — keeping it in the match chat is what gives an admin a record to rule on.

My game ID is wrong

Update it at Profile → Settings → Linked Game Accounts. Do it before an event starts. Changing a game ID mid-event does not retroactively fix a lobby you have already been placed into, so tell an admin in the event chat if you spot it late.

Something went wrong technically

Match state, submitted results, and wallet balances are stored durably, so a disconnect does not lose work you have already submitted. Reconnect and check the match page before assuming anything is lost. If a genuine technical fault cost you a match, raise it in the event chat while the event is live — admins can adjust results and participation at any point during an event.
